New Updates

Hello again!

It seems like I haven't been on here in forever. We have had lots going on and it has been difficult to find time to get on and update. We recently had to put our precious dog, Trevor, down because he has been battling cancer for the past few months. It has been such a struggle for us and for him and if you know Brian and I then you know that we are huge dog lovers and we treat them like they are our little babies. So, it has been such a heart wrenching experience, but we know that he is not suffering and he is running and playing with my sweet Hanna in heaven now. If you knew Trevor you knew he was a very unique dog. We have had so many fun memories with that boy and we are holding onto all of those to get us through all the tough times.

God has been doing such amazing things to give us the gift of having a baby at this point in our lives. Our time on earth is so precious and it's so important to spend your time here loving on your family and friends and making the most of what blessings you have right now. Brian and I know how blessed we are to have each other to get through experiences like these and with our baby girl on the way we are so excited to see what lies for us in the future.

I have been feeling great except for a few minor discomforts here and there. She has been moving like crazy and I am starting to see a pattern in when she is awake and moving. I love every second that I get to feel her and when Brian gets to feel her. I went to the doctor last week and everything is right on track. The heartbeat sounded great and we are both growing like weeds. I am 24 weeks now and getting closer to that third trimester. I go back to the doctor for my 28 week appointment in August and get to take that yummy drink for my glucose test. Little sarcasm there! The nursery decisions are coming along and I am so thankful to have a wonderful mother and mother in law to help me. We are getting closer to deciding on a name, but aren't sure just yet! We will reveal as soon as we can decide and knowing Brian and I she might be here before we make a decision! I will post again soon...I promise! And with a picture of my growing belly!
